I’ve always loved teaching others; whether it is one-on-one or in a formal class or seminar. My role as a representative for Jostens in the Memory Book division combines my business/management experience with the opportunity to teach students and teachers how to make great yearbooks. I’ve done it all -- from ad sales and paste-up by hand on my own high school yearbook to advising yearbook and newspaper in the digital age of the 21st century. I left the high school classroom, where I enjoyed teaching English, to take the greatest job in the world – I get to do what I love (teach), be creative, and work with imaginative students all across the great state of Alaska. I thoroughly enjoy working with schools to tell their story, to increase school pride, and develop Renaissance programs that promote and recognize student involvement and achievement.
